Part of our mission is to help ensure that educational programs and training initiatives are accessible to the residents of Van Alstyne, allowing them to maximize their potential and, in turn, improve our local businesses and the community.
The City of Van Alstyne is proud to be home to a campus of Grayson College, a nationally-recognized community college offering technical and workforce training, associate degrees, and programs launching students toward four-year university degrees. The Van Alstyne Independent School District’s dual credit programs allow high school students to attend Grayson College and get a head start on earning college credit.
Additionally, there are approximately 50 institutions within a 60-mile radius of Van Alstyne, including specialized training centers and remote campuses. Their combined achievements clearly demonstrate the pool of talent available to employers in Van Alstyne.
